A message from 1199SEIU Health & Pension Funds
To thank you for your commitment to our members and hard work throughout the year, we are happy to announce that the Fund will again institute in-office summer hours in July and August, as we did in 2021.
If you work in the office on a daily basis, you will be able to take early dismissals on four Fridays in either July or August. To ensure that we continue to provide seamless service to our members on Fridays in July and August, departments whose staff members work in the office on a daily basis must maintain sufficient staff coverage during regular business hours on those days. To facilitate this, each of these departments will split its staff into two groups—one group that will take early dismissal on four Fridays in July, and one group that will take early dismissal on four Fridays in August. The month of July has five Fridays this year. Since the first Friday of the month, July 1, is early dismissal for all staff in observance of the Independence Day holiday, staff taking early dismissal in July will take the last four Fridays of the month.
If you work in the office as part of an office/remote work rotation schedule, you will be able to take early dismissals on up to four Fridays on the weeks you work in the office during the months of July and August.
If you participate in the Summer Hours Program, on the days that you are scheduled for early dismissal, work hours will be 9:00am to 3:00pm with a 30-minute lunch and one 15-minute break. Operating hours for the Members Services Call Center will be 9:00am to 5:00pm, allowing our call center staff the opportunity to participate in the Summer Hours Program while also continuing to meet the needs of our members.
