A message from 1199 HR: Beginning July 13, we will be moving into our new building in small groups, in accordance with social distancing guidelines. During your 498 orientation experience, you will get a tour of the space and all of its amenities. You will also have plenty of time to unpack your boxes and set up your personal work areas. Your manager will inform you of the date and time you are to arrive. Please refer to the attached “498 – What You Can Expect” document emailed to all staff for details about the orientation experience. It is important that you arrive for your scheduled experience as planned. You will then return to your home office and continue working remotely until our telecommuting rotating schedule begins in early August. More information about that will follow.

BFSA News:
MOA Ratification
As you all know the BFSA was in negotiations prior to NYC closure and a draft of modifications has been sent to all members via fund email on July 1st. Copy of both MOA and Sideletter announcing first time ever sign on bonus for all members will be available on site once finalized. Ratification decision will be forthcoming soon.
Finance: Reports for 1st and 2nd quarter have been completed and will also be made available via BFSA website. If you desire to have a copy forwarded to your personal email please feel free to request it via our contact page. We will not be sharing finance information via 1199 server. Copies of course can also be obtained once we are back in office setting as well. Once again we hope you and your families continue to remain safe and additional information will be made available soon. Attached below are drafts to MOA and Sidebar letter of agreement between the BFSA and 1199 Benefit & Pension Fund, again copy of final will be provided to all members as soon as ratification process is complete. Additional information sent to membership today, 7/17/2020 along with Parking vendor 1199 acquired for staff and members will be shared soon.
