Dear 1199SEIU & BFSA Member: You will soon receive a letter about a new dental plan option available from the 1199SEIU National Benefit Fund. You now have the choice of enrolling in a pilot Dental Maintenance Organization plan we created through a partnership with Aetna. The new plan offers comprehensive dental services from a network of quality providers, with no co-pays, deductibles or annual dollar limit for covered services provided by participating dentists. The letter provides more information about the plan as well as instructions on how to enroll, if you choose to do so. If you decide the new plan is right for you and your family, you must enroll by June 30, 2019, for a benefit start date of August 1, 2019. You do not need to do anything if you wish to remain enrolled in the current EmblemHealth dental plan.
